A great rural Nevada ride on mostly low traffic roads through the farm and ranch lands of Smith and Mason Valleys via Wilson Canyon. There is water and food in Wellington, Smith and Yerington. It can be hot in the summer so go early but it can be a great off season ride mid-day. Less than 1000 feet of very mild elevation changes. Thanks to Linda Muir for this route.

Sweetwater Century

There are several ways to do the Sweetwater Century. This route includes an out and back to Lower Twin Lakes beyond Bridgeport to make it a century. Very low traffic roads, beautiful scenery but this ride can be windy. A great rural NV/CA ride. About 4700 feet of very moderate climbing. Bring plenty of food and water. There is essentially nothing between Wellington and Bridgeport and there is often little open in Wellington.
